Faubourg 36 Pre-Review

Pre-review for the new movie Faubourg 36

faubourg 36 posterThe old is recreated in this movie set in 1936 in the Faubourg District in the city of Paris in France . During that period, major changes were taking place in Europe and are affecting a lot of lives. This is especially true for Germain Pigoil, who finds his life taking a rollercoaster turn for the worse. He is the owner of a vaudeville home which he ran. His family consists of his wife Viviane and son Jojo. Viviane has a lover whom she runs away with leaving Germain and Jojo. However Viviane is determined to take their son with her and requests for custody. Business also goes down and little profits are coming in.  A rival, Galapiat, is also on Germain’s tail and wants to take over the vaudeville. Galapiat is known to be crooked in his business dealings. Fortunately, Germain manages to deal with Galapiat and business starts to pick up once again. Both his business and personal life immensely improve on the arrival of Douce, a graceful singer. If you want to see what happens next, see Faubourg 36.
